How much does Class C driver education cost? How much does Class B driver education cost?
A. $650/ * $3590 : * Payment plans available. Scholarships may be available through Department of Labor/Workforce Development.
Are the classes in person or online?
A. The classes are in person only. Class C: 30 classroom hours and 10 behind the wheel hours. Class B: 42 classroom hours 30 behind the wheel hours
How long are the Class C Courses? How long are the Class B courses?
A. The length of the course is mandated by the State and on average will last about 3 weeks (no more than 10 hours a week.)
A. The classroom portion of the class B classes is five 8.5 hour days.
Do I need to have a DOT physical?
A. If you plan to operate in intrastate commerce, then a DOT physical is NOT required. ( Example: Drivers that operate less than 100 air miles from their regular place of business, will NOT cross State line ).
Do I use my own vehicle for the road test?
A. We provide the vehicles for the duration of the course. Our fleet of vehicles are both clean and safe.
Do I have to pay to take the class again if I fail the written exam?
A. NO, you don't! The instructor will be able to work with you on scheduling a time for you to come back in and re-test.
If I use the school's truck with an automatic transmission, how do I get the E restriction removed from my license?
A. Schedule and pass a new CDL skills test (road test) in a truck equipped with a manual transmission. This test will demonstrate your ability to safely operate a manual transmission CMV. You will not be required to perform a pre-trip or maneuver through the cones.
